2015 Safety Induction

The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) supports the University "Safety and Wellbeing" policy. The Faculty strives to maintain a safe working environment for all users of our facilities.

In support this, all students who work or study in FEIT must complete a Safety Induction every year. The induction is available via an online module that takes 15-20 minutes to complete. UTS Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) Safety and Wellbeing Essentials Module for the Year 2015

PIN and SmartCard access to faculty facilities requires successful completion of the safety induction. Results from the safety induction are uploaded every morning at 8:30AM. You should complete your safety induction well in advance of when access is required. Supervisors of high-risk laboratories may require students to complete additional safety induction training that is more specific to those areas. Please contact those supervisors for further information.

Access to facilities for anyone who completed the 2014 Safety Induction will expire on the 31st March 2015 unless the 2015 safety induction has been completed.

MyFEIT is a website designed for all currently enrolled Engineering and Information Technology students - local and international, undergraduates and postgraduates, coursework and research. If you are not a currently enrolled student in FEIT please refer to the prospective students' website for information about the Faculty and UTS.

This site has been created as a one stop option to find the information you need as a UTS FEIT student. It is user-friendly, with easy navigation, relevant links, and easy downloads to make finding the information quick and easy.
