Mediasite is a webcasting system available to FEIT and faculty-associated lecturers.
The Mediasite system captures live video and sound, but also simultaneously captures a third input (e.g. lecture slides or software programs) which is intelligently keyed against the live video. For instance, skipping ahead in the video will correspondingly skip the slides ahead.
If you wish to use Mediasite for any purpose, please contact the FEIT Support team via Service Connect (www.serviceconnect.uts.edu.au) and we can get you up and running, and help tailor it to your purpose.
Examples of mediasite functionality:
Reporting (viewing growth over time, there are many different reporting features)
Reporting (heat map of one presentation, displaying what sections students are watching)
